The story is set in a much under-explored slice of modern European history. Southern Germany, post war.The locations and characters in this book are vivid. It is an atmospheric period drama with a lot of insight and told factually and without malice, (well not too much).
I may and try pitch this one as a low to medium budget feature film. It may sound an odd choice, but with certain adaptions this could make a very poignant period drama. It is more of a Eouropean Production than a Hollywood one. I shall keep you posted on the News Page.
I have started a seperate website for this book
